Registration is open.

This site is only for MOUNTAINDALE WEST DAY CAMP. All other Girl Scouts camp registrations are not linked to our camp. If you register for our camp, any money you pay is not transferable. If you registered for the wrong camp, you will need to contact our registrar to cancel your registration with our camp. You will then need to contact the other camp for their registration information.

Registrations and paperwork accepted only between February 21, 2010 to April 4, 2010. DO NOT mail paperwork before this time, as it will not be accepted.

All membership paperwork must be the original paperwork with a signature and needs to be mailed. No faxed, photocopied or scanned memberships will be accepted.

REMEMBER, all unit registration questions are based on the grade the child is GOING INTO in the FALL of 2010. Do not use the current grade level for unit choices.

Registration Deadline

Registration must be received on or before 6 PM on April 4, 2010. We do not accept late camper registrations. We highly encourage online registration. The online system is quick and more complete then the paper version. If you choose to do a paper registration, you must contact the camp Registrar for needed forms and paperwork. There is a $15.00 processing fee applied to each paper registration (this fee applies to all paper camp registrations not to the Girl Scout Membership form, the PA application or the PA references). Campers and PAs with incomplete registration by April 4, 2010 will be placed on the wait-list. Wait-listed people are only considered if the lottery is not applied.

Once you have completed the online registration, you will receive a confirmation email to the email you used. Please make sure that the email you are using remains valid throughout the camp season. You MUST make sure that the email you are using will accept mass emails. This is our main method of communication with our families. We send most information via the camp online system. If your email bounces back, we cannot send another individual email.

After the lottery and all training sessions and unit planning has taken place, a camp letter with general camp information and a postcard will be sent one (1) to four (4) weeks prior to the start of camp. These will be separate mailings. The letter will have gerneral information and the postcard will have the campers individual unit assignment, adult unit leaders names, unit PA names and needed camp information.

*Guarantee your child a place in camp by becoming a full-time volunteer at camp.

Online Registration

We use ActiveNetwork, a web-based database company, for secure online registration. You may access the online registration through the link at the left (on the green navigation button marked "Direct link to Registration").

If you have limited internet access, please contact our registrar for your registration options.

Payment Methods

Full payment is due at the time of registration. Our ONLINE PAYMENT allows a payment to be made in two different ways: You can use your checking account by using a routing number at the bottom of a check or you can use a credit card. Both methods are accepted, but when you pay with your checking account, the camp will be assessed a smaller processing fee. So if possible, we would like to ask you to use the check method to make your payment.

Unregistered Girl Scouts

If camper, PA, or volunteer IS NOT REGISTERED with Girl Scouts for the 2009-2010 year, you must fill out a paper membership registration form from the the Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington site. You may pay the $12.00 required annual membership via the online registration for camp, but will not be consided fully registered until the paper membership registration form, with a valid signature, is received by the camp registrar.

Current Girl Scout membership runs from 10/1/09 – 09/30/10. If you send in a Girl Scout membership for camp this year, the GS membership will end on 9/30/10.

Girl Scouts memberships processed in the summer for any Girl Scouts camp are only good until the last day of September of that same year.

You must re-register with a new membership each year if the girl scout does not register with a troop or as a Juliette in the Spring registration.

Cookie and Nut Credits

Did you earn a cookie credit when you sold cookies or a nut credit selling nuts? Did you know that you can use your credits to help pay for camp? Please be sure that your credit has not expired because you can only use current (not expired) credits.

To apply the credit to the camp fees, you must first register the camper and pay the full registration fee for that camper. Then you need to mail the signed paper credit or the cookie/nut credit card to the camp registrar. Once camp has closed and the lottery has been completed (if needed), the credit will be validated through the Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington and then applied toward your registration fee. A check will be mailed to you once this process has been completed. If there is a balance remaining on the credit card, we will also mail the credit card back to the camper.

Please note - Only the camper named on the credit can use the credit. The credits are not transferable and cannot be applied to family members or friends.

Cookie/Nut credits will be accepted from February 21, 2010 through July 23, 2010. The credits received after July 23, 2010 will not be processed and will be returned to the camper.

Send Cookie/Nut Credits to the registrar at the address below.
